Four Authors and Open Mic at Rapp Saloon Reading Series

Join us when host Cynthia Alessandra Briano welcomes this month’s featured artists:

Imani Tolliver is a poet, artist and educator, a Cave Canem Fellow and served as Poet Laureate for the Watts Towers Arts Center. She is the author of About Runaway: A Memoir in Verse.

Terry Wolverton is the author of ten books of poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction, including Embers, a novel in poems, and Insurgent Muse, a memoir. She is the founder of Writers at Work, and is affiliate faculty in the MFA program at Antioch University Los Angeles.

Sara Borjas is a third generation Chicana, a pocha, and a Fresno poet. She is currently a lecturer at UC Riverside, and she is a 2017 CantoMundo Fellow, among other honors. Her first poetry collection is forthcoming from Noemi Press in Spring of 2019.

Soo Kim (Soo Sings) is a singer-songwriter from New York City, currently residing in Los Angeles.

Winnie M. Li at Book Soup
